The Linguistic Heartbeat of Michigan

MiTiN is a non-profit organization of translators, interpreters, language service providers, and language professionals in Michigan. Formed in 1991, MiTiN is an active organization located in Southeast Michigan, with members situated primarily in the State of Michigan and adjacent states.

MiTiN members are highly qualified and have expertise in legal and medical interpretation and translation. Some are highly knowledgeable in the automotive industry, and other technical and non-technical areas. MiTiN has been the Michigan chapter of the American Translators Association (ATA) since 2004.

Whether you are looking for an interpreter or translator, searching for information on the profession, looking for Michigan Court Administrative Office (SCAO) certified interpreters, or seeking an opportunity to network with fellow language specialists, you have come to the right place.
